Ang election, parang ligawan: walang perfect. At the end of the day, we just have to accept that democracy, like love, is a process and a journey. The bigger question is, who among these imperfect candidates would we trust that journey with?
On May 11, let’s talk about your 12 for the 13th. Discussion and debate are indispensable to democratic participation: our choices affect us all, therefore we are accountable to each other. By coming together to discuss these choices, we not only engage with each other and explore different points of view, we shed light on the future we want for our country.
Everyone is welcome. This meet is open to all genders and orientations.
About Grrrl Gang Manila: Founded in March 2017, Grrrl Gang Manila’s mission is to provide spaces for girls and women to discuss issues that affect them on a personal level. Our orientation is feminist, with varying degrees of understanding, leaning towards embrace. These are safe spaces where no one is judged; where differences of opinion and diversities in social, cultural and political backgrounds add flair to an intergenerational group that continues to evolve, one meet after another.
