Interdisciplinary & Collaborations in & between the Arts & Music

Calling all artists of any discipline (visual, digital, coding, installation, film, photography, painting, art managers, musicians, event managers, students, producers, curators, etc and all that jazz!
Vienna/Austria based artistic & strategic consultant in the field of music, Andreas Vierziger, will be hosting a series of workshops whereas the aim is to develop awareness of contact points between various disciplines and industries as well as to develop concepts, ideas, concrete projects and artworks that are crossing borders of genres and disciplines: Different musical genres, crossover, dance, performance, visual arts, performative arts, high tech, coding, etc.
How can structures and formats transform? What already exists and what can we develop ourselves?
A couple of examples in the lecturing part of this workshop will explore the connections between music and visual arts, performative arts and music, installations, music and dance, movement and various disciplines, new concert formats and collaborations, collaborations with global brands, state of the art possibilities with digital media and tech, etc. Over the course of the workshop participants will develop their own projects, concepts,
ideas and artistic works, either by oneself or in a group.
There will be room for discussions. The workshop happens in collaboration with Pineapple Lab and Fringe Manila!

This is a 3 day program, all between the times of 11AM-2pm.
Andreas Vierziger works internationally as artistic and strategic consultant in the music field and beyond. Among his clients are festivals, concert presenters, artists, record labels and other institutions from the music business. He collaborated with partners such as the Welsh National Opera/UK, Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad/Switzerland, Vienna MuseumsQuartier, Vivienne Westwood/Milan Fashion Week and David Lynch’s Silencio Club in Paris.
As a former artist manager at Buhl Artists Management he regularly worked artists of highest profile as well as with the most prestigious orchestras, festivals and concert presenters across Europe and the world. He served as a jury member for various competitions such as International Johannes Brahms Competition, Fulbright Concerto
Competition and New York Concert Artist Auditions. Numerous universities invite him for lectures, among them are Vienna University for Music and performing Arts, Mozarteum Salzburg, Zurich University for the Arts, Sibelius Academy
Helsinki, Tokyo University for the Arts, Tokyo College of Music, Sciences Po Paris, ParisSorbonne
and others.
