“RISE: Celebrating The Woman” is a spoken word poetry and music event that gathers and celebrates women. This event will also be used as a platform to raise awareness on rape culture and violence against women, giving empowerment to all through poetry and music. Happening on May 27, 2016 (Friday), 7 PM onwards at UPSTAIRS @ Commune, Makati. PHP 250.00 entrance fee comes with free drink.
Presented by Woman, Create and featuring local spoken word group, Words Anonymous and live music by Roxci de Leon, KAMARA, Aleph Music, Vica Hernandez, Toni B. and Clara Benin.
